Demokrat Parti’nin adayı Barack Obama ikinci kez ABD başkanlığına seçildi.
ABD Senato seçimlerini ise Demokrat Parti kazandı. Bu seçimlerde Senato'nun 3'de 1'i yenilendi. Demokrat Parti şu anda 13, Cumhuriyetçi Parti ise 5 sandalye kazandı. ABD Temsilciler Meclisi seçimini kazanan Cumhuriyetçi Parti'nin önümüzdeki 2 yıl daha, Barack Obama'nın icraatlarını bloke etmek için eline fırsat geçti.

ABD seçimleri Barack Obama'nın zaferiyle sonuçlandı. Resmi olmayan sonuçlara göre,Romney'nin 203, Obama'nın 280 delegesi var. Kilit eyaletler Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Ohio'yı Obama kazandı. ABD'nin 45. başkanını seçecek seçimler sonuçlandı. Obama, 4 yıl daha ABD'yi yönetecek. Resmi olmayan sonuçlara göre, Obama'nın 280, Romney'nin ise 203 delegesi var. Başkan seçilmek için 270 delege gerekiyordu.

ABD seçimlerinde kilit eyaletler olarak gösterilen Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Hampshire ve Ohio'yı Demokrat aday Barack Obama kazandı. Diğer bir kilit eyalet olan Florida'da henüz sonuçlar açıklanmadı. Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Illinois, Maine, Washington DC, Vermont, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Minnesota, New Mexico, Iowa, Ohio ve Rhode Island eyaletlerini kazanan Barack Obama, ikinci defa seçilerek ABD'nin 45. başkanı oldu.

Romney şimdiye kadar 20 eyaleti kazandı. Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennesse, Alabama, Georgia, Utah, Missouri, Arizona, North Carolina ve South Carolina eyaletlerini alan Romney 203 delegede kaldı.

ZAFER KONUŞMASI CEBİNDE KALDI

ABD Başkanı Barack Obama seçim sonuçlarını izlemek için Chicago'da Cumhuriyetçi aday Mitt Romney ise Boston'daydı.

Romney "zafer konuşma"sını hazırlamıştı. Romney'nin yapamadığı zafer konuşması bin 118 sözcükten oluşuyordu

İkinci kez başkan seçilen Barack Obama, sosyal paylaşım sitesi Twitter'dan kendisine destek verenlere teşekkür etti.

22 eyaletin yanı sıra Washington DC'de 274 delege kazanarak seçilen Obama, Chicago'daki evinden Twitter'daki hesabına "Bu sizin sayenizde oldu. Teşekkür ediyorum" diye yazdı.

TSİ 06.00 sularında Obama'nın gerekli olan 270 delegeyi elde ettiğinin ortaya çıkması ile Demokrat Parti'de kutlamalar başladı. Resmi olmayan seçim sonuçlarının ortaya çıkmasından yaklaşık 2 saat sonra Cumhuriyetçi Parti başkan adayı Mitt Romney,Obama'yı arayarak kutladı.

Romney'nin yenilgiyi kabul etmesinden sonra sıraObama'ya geldi. Obama Chicago'daki seçim merkezinde coşkulu bir zafer konuşması yaptı.

“I wish the best for them. I want them to go and be happy… and just be respectful.”

Glanville insists she’s respectful of her ex and his new wife, agreeing not to tell the kids about Rimes’ recent rehab stint.

The reality TV star adds, “They do not know. I wanted to talk to the kids about it but I respected Eddie’s wishes and we didn’t say anything ’cause she (Rimes) does go on tour and she does leave for long periods of time, so it wasn’t that big of a deal.”

And she’s happy that her sons like their stepmother: “It would be hard for me if they didn’t like her. I would be in court trying to get them back all the time.”

Naomi Campbell has blasted reports she is planning an elephant polo match to celebrate her boyfriend’s 50th birthday, insisting she is devastated by the “completely untrue” allegation.

The British beauty attracted criticism from officials at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) last week after a report surfaced suggesting she had organised the animal-based event in India for Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin’s party.

However, she has now hit back, branding the speculation false and insisting no elephant polo will be taking place at the celebration.

In a statement, a spokeswoman writes, “An allegation has been made in the media that Naomi Campbell is responsible for organizing an elephant polo tournament for her partner Vladislav Doronin’s 50th birthday celebrations in India. Also, that Miss Campbell has no concern over the potential cruelty to elephants involved in such polo tournaments.

“These allegations are completely untrue. Miss Campbell has neither organized nor requested the organization of any such elephant polo tournament as part of the birthday celebrations or otherwise.

“Miss Campbell is extremely upset by these untrue allegations, which were first published in a U.K. newspaper and which have been widely repeated around the world, and has instructed her lawyers in London to deal with the matter immediately.”
